This week's Cosplay Wednesday features cosplayer UchihaMinerva! She's got a pretty awesome Digimon cosplay to show, and this is her first cosplay! MInervamon, belongs to the Olympos XII, a group of 12 God Man Digimon. For it to wield a gigantic greatsword as large as its own body, it obviously possesses superhuman strength. Normally, Minervamon has a cheerful, childlike personality, but has an extremely unstable emotions.  We can see why UchihaMinerva chose to cosplay her, and we love how it turned out. Check out what she had to say about her cosplay and see more of her photos!

Cosplayer: UchihaMinerva (FB)
Cosplay: Minervamon
Series: Digimon

1. How long have you been cosplaying?
This is my first cosplay

2. Why did you choose to cosplay this character?
I love her design and personality traits, she is extremely short but possesses superhuman strength and a highly unstable personality!
I have also been a huge fan of her previous evolutions, especially LadyDevimon from the original series.

3. How long did it take you to complete?
about 4 months

4. Any difficulties when constructing the costume?
Yes! literally everything was a challenge, but the headpiece and the sword were the most difficult to construct.

5. What do you love most about cosplaying this character?
To be honest, my favourite thing about cosplaying Minervamon was being able to go around the convention with the massive greatsword "Olympia". I'm a huge fan of armour and weaponry so it was great fun!

6. Where did you debut this costume? If you haven't... where do you plan to debut?
Glasgows MCM Expo 2014

7. What's next? Cosplay related of course...
I am currently planning on cosplaying Minervamons evolution: Mervamon.

Amazing work! This cosplay was spot on, and great job on your first cosplay!
