cos(WED): Dr. McNinja by Ninja
Welcome to this week's Cosplay Wednesday feature. This week's feature is a little different from what we've normally seen; meet Ninja, cosplaying as Dr. McNinja from the webcomic series, The Adventures of Dr. McNinja. I don't see a whole lot of webcomic cosplayers! This Dr. McNinja... He's a doctor. And he's a ninja. That's not all! Dr. McNinja does have superhero powers as well, including superhero strength and speed. While he is a skilled superhero doctor ninja, the humorous thing about him is that he obsesses over Batman and really wants to be Batman, wears Batman pajamas, and tells everyone he trained under Batman. I've never read this webcomic, and now I'm just curious about it! Check out how Ninja cosplayed Dr. McNinja! I think he got this cosplay spot on.

1. How long have you been cosplaying?
About 3 years. I first started at PAX Prime 2011, wearing a closet cosplay I put together at the last minute. After that, I truly fell in love with the world of cosplay.
2. Why did you choose to cosplay this character?
Once I saw a cover for a Dr. McNinja comic, I was immediately hooked. After reading a few issues, I wanted to cosplay him so bad. I also love cosplaying ninjas.
3. How long did it take you to complete?
It took about a week. Had to order a lab coat and stethoscope online. Then had to shop for the right tie and shirt.
4. Any difficulties when constructing the costume?
The only difficulty I had was learning how to properly tie a tie.
5. What do you love most about cosplaying this character?
Love this cosplay because I'm a big fan of the Dr. McNinja series, Its easy to put on and easy to take off, has so many pockets (which all my other cosplays don't have a single pocket). Also its my best looking cosplay. And I love it when people know who I'm cosplaying as which is a reward of its own.
6. Where did you debut this costume? If you haven't... where do you plan to debut?
I debuted this costume at PAX Prime 2013
7. What's next? Cosplay related of course...
I hope to do more ninja related cosplays in the future. Right now I'm on the planning stages for Ermac from Mortal Kombat 3
I'm a huge fan of Mortal Kombat, can't wait to see it!
