- How
long did it take to complete? I’m not
actually sure how long this cosplay took for me to make. I have an older
version that I no longer wear, and since making it I’ve been slowly updating
it, and now I’m not wearing any of my original pieces anymore. I probably spent
about $500 on materials and accessories, though.
- What
was the hardest part when constructing it? The
hardest parts were sculpting the charms on the gun, and making the leather gun
holster. I have an old domestic sewing machine, so machine stitching through
the leather was a task in itself.
- What
do you love most about this cosplay? My
favourite part about this cosplay is just wearing it and connecting with the
character. The movie isn’t just about hot girls in skimpy outfits to me… when I
watch Sucker Punch, I feel like I can do anything.
- What's your next cosplay project? At the moment, I’m working on a re-make of my old Rapunzel cosplay from Tangled. It’s about ¼ done; I’m starting pretty much from the most basic materials and dyeing silk to the correct colour. It will be a long process!
