This week's Cosplay Wednesday features Shaina of Shainadilly Cosplay. We have her Rocket Girl Tristana cosplay in this feature, which is a popular and well known League of Legends champion. I've only started playing League of Legends just under 2 years and I don't play it much, but I sure know Tristana! In the game she is a race of Yordles (think cute small people with elven ears), and generally known to play the ADC role. She carries a gun named, Boomer, and is generally seen as a cheerful and friendly Yordle who never backs down on a challenge. Check out how Shaina wore Tristana!

1. How long have you been cosplaying?
I have been cosplaying for a little over a year.
2. Why did you choose to cosplay this character?
I love Tristana’s personality. It’s quite explosive! Combine that with an awesome character design and I naturally had to cosplay as her. She’s also a yordle...and I LOVE yordles.
3. How long did it take you to complete?
This costume took be about 4 months to complete.
4. Any difficulties when constructing the costume?
Yes! I’m fairly new to sewing so this was my first time constructing a body suit. I really wanted to make sure everything fit just right, so the sewing portion was the most time consuming part of this costume. I altered a pattern, created my own white piping, and worked with spandex for the first time. In the end, I feel like I’ve leveled up my sewing skills. ;)
5. What do you love most about cosplaying this character?
I love the vibrancy of this costume. From the bright blue skin to the bold yellow and orange panels of the body suit, Tristana really stands out in a crowd. I just feel so confident when I wear her! Whether you play League of Legends or not, people are intrigued and I love their reactions.
6. Where did you debut this costume? If you haven't... where do you plan to debut?
I debuted this costume at Emerald City ComiCon 2016.
7. What's next? Cosplay related of course...
I’m currently deciding my lineup for Anime Expo 2016. AX is my favorite convention so I want to go big and push my skills as a cosplayer! :D
Wow this was really great work!! Perfect Tristana cosplay. It's too bad I missed it at ECCC!
