Welcome to our next Cosplay Wednesday feature! Meet our cosplayer, Auzzie, cosplayed as Edward Kenway from Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. Edward Kenway is quite a character and isn't like the typical selfless and disciplined Assassin. He lived the pirate life for all the gold and glory and he is also cocky, reckless, rebelious, selfish, and he doesn't like to follow any rules. That's quite the opposite of what the Assassin's Creed expects from their own disciplined Assassins, which in turn causes this internal conflict within Edward. 1. How long have you been cosplaying?
I have been cosplaying for less than a year.
2. Why did you choose this cosplay?
I chose to be Edward Kenway because I have always been a gamer, lover of history (particularly pirates), and because I've always enjoyed the Assassin's Creed games and felt like he was the perfect character to channel the passion into.
3. How long did it take to complete?
It took about 2-3 months, working on and off.

4. What was the hardest part when constructing it?
The hardest part was actually the vest, because it was my first time working with vinyl and sewing it wasn't very easy on me.
5. What do you love most about this cosplay?
I really love everything about this cosplay, even though I know it's not perfect. It was a real product of love and effort and I just love how I can go out there in public with the costume on confidently.
6. Are you debuting this at a convention? If you already have, which convention?
I debuted this cosplay at the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo 2014.

7. What's your next cosplay project?
My next BIG cosplay project will be the film version of Storm Shadow from G.I. Joe.
