This week's Cosplay Wednesday features Red Rose Cosplay, here to show us her Ame-Comi Robin cosplay! In case you don't know, this version of Robin comes from the Ami-Comi Girls series.  This series features alternate versions of your favorite DC heroines based on the popular line of Japanese anime and manga influenced figures from DC Collectibles, and is totally full of action packed fun.  It is, however, only digital exclusive comics. Aside from that...Girl power! The Ame-Comi Robin is the female counterpart of Robin, based on The Dark Knight Returns character Carrie Kelley, and is Batgirl's sidekick.  Check out how Red Rose Cosplay brought this to life!

1. How long have you been cosplaying?
I have been cosplaying since 2011.

2. Why did you choose to cosplay this character?
In the Ame-Comi universe Robin is an upbeat girl who I describe myself with!

3. How long did it take you to complete?
It took me approximately 4 months.

4. Any difficulties when constructing the costume?
The day of the con, the body suit broke on the side and I had to sew it on while having the cosplay on by myself.

5. What do you love most about cosplaying this character?
I love it because she is cool and funny and I can't easily portray that because that's how I am.

6. Where did you debut this costume? If you haven't... where do you plan to debut?
I debuted this cosplay at the 2013 Puerto Rico Comic Con.

7. What's next? Cosplay related of course...
Right now my list is on going, but I'm working on Bombshell Batwoman, Polaris(marvel) and also Mara Jade (Star Wars).

This cosplay was so cool! I love it, and I look forward to seeing your Bombshell Batwoman and future cosplays!
