Looks like CW's boylicious Green Arrow is making a his way to the big screen! Stephen Amell has officially joined the cast of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 as the sporting goods wielding vigilante Casey Jones.
Seems like Amell's experience as Starling City's hooded vigilante will be put to the test. The studio met with Amell and dozens of potential candidates for the role, but it was Stephen's chemistry with Fox that sealed the deal.
The franchise was a big money maker with the initial reboot, despite being ripped apart by critics and fans alike (the first film hold a 21% rotten rating on Rotten Tomatoes). Originally, Elias Koteas played the character in the original 1990 New Line picture... here's hoping for some great banter between Stephen Amell's Casey Jones as Raphael in the sequel.
