According to an anonymous extra, who could be facing a HEFTY fine for disclosing this information, Jena Malone could be playing Carrie Kelley... the female Robin from Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns.
Visuals from TDKR has already been seen to be inspiring the look of Zack Snyder's Batman, what with the "fat bat" logo on Battfleck's costume. But personally I'm a little skeptical to Jena Malone being Carrie Kelley. For one, Carrie Kelley was a 13 year old girl when an old/grizzled Batman took her under his wing and the 29 year old Malone (though she does look incredibly stunning) looks to be a far cry from 13. Though the Earth Prime/New 52 Carrie Kelley was introduced as a college student, I have a different theory for who Jena Malone could be playing.

Personally, I see her as playin Barbara Gordon... the woman who would be Batgirl. If this Batman is going to be a Batman who's been operating in Gotham for quite some time at the stories start, it isn't inconceivable that some of his Bat Family operate in Gotham as well.

Malone was seen rocking some new red hair recently which sparked the blogosphere to scream "Carrie Kelley all the way," but let's not forget that Babs also rocks some beautiful scarlet locks.
