Might I say that is one, fine...beat up..Tony Stark. Aside from that, the movie poster itself tells a story that we haven't seen in any of the trailers.... yet.
Thanks to Yahoo! Movies for revealing this poster officially, here we see Tony Stark in pretty bad shape; there are 7 other Iron Man armor suits in the background. This suggests the film will show Stark controlling his army of Iron Man suits (Iron Legion) using his Mark 47 armor and Extremis abilities.
But...did Stark lose control of his army? What's going on? Looks like he's facing a challenge and only the next trailer on March 5 will tease us with what!!
