So I'm taking over this week for cos(WED)... trying to get that title to stick, whaddaya g33ks think? ANY to the WAYS, this week we have an amazing submission from Knightmage showcasing his Spawn, Wings of Redemption version. Hands down Spawn is one of my favorite all time badd ass comic book characters, in life he was Lieutenant Colonel Al Simmons, but after being murdered at the hands of fellow merc Bruce Stinson; Simmons returns as a Hellspawn... hell-bent on taking down evil with extreme force and violence.

Here's what Knightmage had to say about his turn as the anti-hero from hell...

BAMF material right there!

1. How long have you been cosplaying?
I've been cosplaying since 2011. My first time cosplaying at a convention was in late 2012. Before that I only did charity work.

2. Why did you choose this cosplay?
I'm a huge Spawn fan. I made the original Spawn last year (2013) and debuted it at C2E2. I decided that I wanted to make a new Spawn every year. I chose this version simply because I love the design and woke up one day with the urge to create it.

3. How long did it take to complete?
4 Days (approximately 24 hours total)

4. What was the hardest part when constructing it?
You would think the skeletal system would've been the hardest but gluing all those feathers turned out to be the most difficult and time consuming part. I opted to go with real feathers. Around 4000 feathers total.

5. What do you love most about this cosplay?
Obviously I love the wings. I purposely made them thick and heavy so I could really feel it. I love how they look chaotic yet still angelic. Another small thing I love is the mask. I have a thing for masks. To me a good mask will really make the costume.

6. Are you debuting this at a convention? If you already have, which convention?
I debuted this at C2E2 in April. C2E2 has become the official/unofficial convention for my debuts of Spawn cosplays

7. What's your next cosplay project?
I'm always working on something. This year I'm planning on around 16 different costumes. I've already completed 5. Currently I'm working on The Shredder and Space Ghost.

Dope as all hell man! Can't wait to see what's next! Keep us in the know!
