Welcome Ray! He debuted his Silver Samurai cosplay at NYCC 2013 where he also ran into Lifted Geek's own Justin Prince. He didn't get a chance to get a whole lot of photos taken but thankfully his wife was able to capture a great photo of it! Here's what he had to say about it.

Why did you choose this cosplay?
I chose Silver Samurai because the movie was coming out and was hoping to show it off then but plans got pushed back
How long did it take to complete this costume?
Took me a while to finish because of work and family, especially with 2 little ones at home. So approx. 2 - 2 1/2 months.
What was the hardest part when constructing it?
Hardest part was probably just trying to get all the pieces cut, just didn't seem like I was ever going to finish it.
What do you love most about this cosplay?
Love everything about it, its actually my first foam armor build and I had so much fun doing it. I am a big fan of martial arts movies and I think that's another reason why I wanted to do silver samurai.
What's your next cosplay project?
Next project-- that's a tough one, lol so many ideas and things I want to do but at the moment my next 2-3 down the road that I am researching at the moment is Raiden from Mortal Kombat and something or someone from either black/red or yellow lantern corp and was trying to convince my little one to have me do a minion for him from Despicable Me but he said no so I might have to make a adult one for myself.
