Nerfing Toblerone-err Torbjörn

Reported by Kotaku, looks like Torb will be getting a serious nerf... but only on consoles.

Arguably one of the most infuriating heroes to face off against, the Turret King Torbjorn will be getting nerfed on consoles sometime next month.

“In an upcoming patch, we will reduce the damage done by Torbjörn’s turret by 30% on Xbox One and PS4. PC will remain unchanged,” wrote Kaplan, chiming in on a lengthy Reddit thread complaining about the character. “ETA - Mid to late July depending on 1st party certification times.”

I get it, and I like how much effort Blizzard has put into balancing these games independently from console to PC. While some of the more eloquent of gamers may respond simply with a "git gud" I understand how this balance can help improve the game. On PC, tactics work dramatically better with mouse-and-keyboard aiming as opposed to trying to tilt you analog stick to get the perfect shot in. Sniping on consoles requires a much higher level of precision than what would be required on PC.

I get it, and I'm sure the Torb mains will come running with the salt in tow. But like how McCree and Widowmaker were nerfed on PC, after playing a considerable number of matches since the nerf... it has positively affected the PC game. This I feel can do the same for console players.

What do you think? Good idea?
