CBS Casting Supes!

With CBS primed to add another entry to DC's ever growing television universe, it looks like Superman himself will be making at least a cameo in the pilot for CBS's Supergirl series. First caught by via an open casting call, it looks good that Superman will be making his return to live-action TV since Smallville concluded.

We are looking for BODY DOUBLE for a DC Comic Superhero –
You must be available for an interview this Thursday and if selected will work several day during March.
This is for a CBS pilot. You can be SAG or Non-Union.
You should be 5’11 or taller and be Square Jawed
and have a ripped physique.
You must send a bodyshot, shirtless, sizes, current contact info and your first five to [REDACTED] – in the subject line write SUPERMAN
— via the casting call

The question is... who will be Superman? I highly doubt Henry Cavill will reprise the role, what with DC keeping their TV and film universes separate. My personal choice would be to bring back Tom Welling, He did portray the role for ten seasons on Smallville.

Tom Welling on Smallville... the perfect choice maybe?

Either way, it's some exciting news! This could be the precursor to WB giving the rights of the big three to the television universe. Though Bruce Wayne is on Gotham, there has been hide nor hair of anything Bat-related on TV... aside from the animated and a brief cameo on Birds of Prey.
