After the surprise announcement showing Grant Gustin in the Flash cowl. CW unveils the full costume!! I was already excited when on Arrow they showed how Barry Allen would get his ability to channel the speed force, but with this... I am completely sold on a flash TV series.
Colleen Atwood is credited with designing The Flash costume, she's an Academy Award winning costume designer having worked on films like Alice in Wonderland, Sweeny Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, and Chicago. Atwood is also credited for her work on designing costumes for Arrow as well.
The pilot director and executive producer David Nutter (Arrow, Game of Thrones) said, "I hope fans are as excited as we are by what costume designer Colleen Atwood has achieved with this latest version of The Flash's iconic suit." I for one am very excited and patiently looking forward to Fall 2014.
It already looks like an impressive list of credits are announced for The Flash pilot. Executive producer credits go to Arrow's Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, and David Nutter. The script comes from Berlanti and Kreisberg along with DC Entertainment's Geoff Johns (the mind behind the DC wide miniseries Flashpoint).
In what looks to be a strengthening DC television universe, CW has already featured such key DC characters like Black Canary (though altered from her comic origin), Deadshot, Huntress, and Deathstroke. While it may be wishful thinking, it wouldn't be too far off base if CW used these series as launching off points for other DC heroes.
So who would you want to see next get the TV treatment? Aquaman? Green Lantern? Wonder Woman? Sound off g33ks.
EDIT (3/12/2014): found this clear/better view photo of the crimson speedster! Definitely gonna make this! -PRINCE
