Here's a bit of troubling news... especially with this game being my TOP GAME I was most excited to play in the coming next gen. But via the Ubisoft blog, they announced that WATCH_DOGS is being delayed until (wait for it) Spring 2014. So it's moving from a Q4 2013 release to a Q2 2014. After having checked out this awesome game at PAX Prime and seeing some exclusive new footage at NYCC this past weekend... looks like I have no choice now but to be all "FAMILY" and "UGLY SWEATERS" and "FREAKING HUGS" during the Holidays when I could have been hacking bank accounts and causing traffic accidents... at least I'll still have Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag .
A rep from Ubisoft stated "Our ambition from the start with Watch Dogs has been to deliver something that embodies what we wanted to see in the next-generation of gaming. It is with this in mind that we’ve made the tough decision to delay the release until spring 2014." I just hope this means the final product will be a greater game, if the delay of Arkham Asylum is any indication of it... this could be a positive turn.
