Artist of the Week Episode 7: Andrew Wilson

We met digital artist, Andrew Wilson, at Emerald City Comicon 2014 and what drew me to him was actually this gigantic banner above his booth with all these Mario mushrooms illustrated as notable characters or icons surrounding a bean-eyed sexy female character. I thought it was such a cute idea so I had to see what else he had! Turns out he has a series of other puns, "pun-ography", like the Boo (Mario) pun series and the Punder Woman series. Check out some of his pun-ography at the end of ths post!
He not only draws for his pun-ography series, but he also draws worlds of even more bulbous characters from TV shows, movies, games, and more. One of my favorite pieces of his is this world containing all his favorite movie characters in the 1980s.
