I took microbiology in college and we totally did NOT do this...the scientists in the mycology lab at the J. Craig Venter Institute sure decided to spice up their lab with a little holiday art by growing fungus.

When I was little, I remember a fake tree with lots of those glittery strand string things that makes the tree look like there's .... glittery snow. I also remember a lot of broken ornaments.
